Hi everyone.
I'm doing a school project in Revit 2015 using the Central File system. It's been working flawlessly up until last week, where I suddenly starts getting this error:
"A fatal error has occurred. The application will be terminated. You have the opportunity to save recovery files for all you changed projects.
Would you like to save a recovery file?"
My group member has no issues working in the file, but every time I Save, Load, Sync., or anything like that, I get the error.
I tried Googling for answers. Some had suggested updating my graphic card drivers, however they are all up to date. I also tried uninstalling Revit and installing it again, with no change.
I've tried quickly making a new project with a few walls etc., making it a Central File, making a local file and then make changes. This happens without any issues. This makes me think it should be the original Central File that's the issue, right?
I'm working on a Windows 8.1 machine.
Does anyone have any suggestiones at all?
Thank you in advance.
/Sebastian

Sounds like a potential CAD file issue. Rename the linked CAD files so they can't be found when the project loads up. If the problem goes away then you need to do some maintenence on the CAD file.
