Good morning,
I am having a issue with a building where the boundarys between floors are causing me an issue.
the building has a sports hall on one side of it and as you go up the levels you see that there is a staircase that means that one of half of floor one is almost as high as level 2. Unfortunately we need to produce drawings based per floor, is there a way to control the view range to allow for this?

Not sure I understnad your question completely but I think your answer is plan region. You can control the view depth/height/cut plane seperately from the view settings.

this is a section of the building as you can see the first floor has different heights so hat the ceiling of the second half of floor one is above the floor level of floor 2
