I'm about a week in to learning Revit and I need some help.
I've been using Sketchup to generate my drawings but we are trying to make the move to Revit so that the models are more dynamic and we can make use of BIM in our projects.
I've got a building here that contains a few fairly long windows that cross over the path of columns. What I am trying to achieve is to get the window to stop at one side of the column and then continue past the other side with an insulated panel bridging the gap where the column comes up. Below is one of the windows in plan view and an isometric view. What is the best way to achieve this so the window appears on a schedule as one window with one continuous sill at the bottom and gets tagged as a window in plan view?

Curtain walls work great for this but you probably want fully manual where you tell it where the grid lines are and what components are where.
Read bout curtain walls in your help.
