hey guys I need to split my elevation marker and take it to the edge of the building for the ground line. Problem is it then cuts through my eave. Cant do a plan region is there something else I can do to fix this?

Crop your ground elevation view from the floor level up, or use any other established horizontal line for cropping. Use edit crop tool so you can snap to the level line. Create another elevation (or section) that clears the eaves and crop it from the floor level down. Put both views on the sheet and align them together.
