Calling for help from Revit pros out there..

I've got a querry on Phasing from a colleague. Basically, all new constructed opening cuts are showing in existing elevation with [show complete] filter setting. It looked totally fine in the 3D views when I apply the same phasing and phase filter. What we are wanting to achieve is to show ONLY existing components in the view when we apply [ Phase : Existing and Phase Filter : Show Complete]

Does anyone know what is wrong and how to fix this?

Opening cuts can not be phased, they will always adopt the phase of their host, select it and see its phase properties is greyed. Often a better solution is to use a door or window family, with just the opening cut in it, then it can be phased and scheduled.
