I have a condition where a beam rests on top of the column. If I draw the model correctly, the beam overlaps the column in plan and the moment symbol covers up the column. Is there a way to show the beam offset in plan without detaching from the column but correct in the model and section? The snapshot named Reality and Section is reality and the snapshot named Symbolic is how I'd like to show it in plan.
Thank you!

I think what you're looking for is found in "Symbolic Representation Settings". To get there, go to your structure tab and click on the little diagonal arrow to the right of the structure tab. Here you will find settings for how far the symbolic cutback distance is. This distance is also affected by whether you have your plan view set to coarse, medium or fine.
