Hey guys what is the best way to show the elevation spot levels in elevation.

The spot elevation tool wont lock on to the topo.

Cheers.

You can create horizontal (or vert.) ref planes and use spot elev. tool at the intersection of the ref planes and grade. It won’t snap to the intersection, but it should be close enough, imho.

You can place a site hosted family that you can then tag the elevation.  It can be a model line in a new site sub-category that is normally off except when you need to see it to tag it.  You can just see the red line in the second image which is the IDF sub-category linetype.

The model line is drawn in the family and the family is site hosted.

Here is a quickie.... modify it as you need to.   NOTE - the red circle is a model line in a whole new sub-category that can be turned off in VG.
