Hello all,

I need your help. I'm frustrated and pulling my hair!! I have linked dwg file in Revit. When I open the dwg file in AutoCAD the building is positioned straight on the x-axis but when I link in Revit the building is positioned diagonally!! I rotated the building back to a straight position but when I dimensioned my gridlines in Revit, Revit complained about two gridlines not being parallel to each other!!

Note that even though AutoCAD showing the building straight on the x-axis, the cursor axis is pointing toward north west.

How to fix this? would AutoCAD UCS fix this problem before linking in Revit?

Thank you...

Autocad origins and Revit's are never the same.  Watch this video.
