Hi,

I'm using windows 7, Revit 2014. So one of my co-workers purged the entire file and got rid of everything last night. I have already transfered project standards to get the basic stuff back, no problem.

I went to reload some of the families we are using and typically when you reload a family that already exists in the project you get the "do you want to override parameters" notification. I am not getting that. So I tried opening the family and loading it that way, nothing. I tried opening the family and resaving it and then loading it, still nothing. I am really at a loss here as to how to get the different types of the families back into my file. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

If there is no difference in the family you have in your project and the one your are trying to load you will not get the do you want to override" pop up.  Did you look in the project browser of your project to see if these families actually exist?

There is one version of the family in the project, but I need to get all of the other versions of that same family back in the project. If that makes sense.

I assume you mean types, not versions.  When you edit the family, verify those types exist.
