Hello
I am having a problem with a current revision which is greyed out, it was checked as issued and greyed out. I could not remove it from my sheet. I went into revisions under views and unchecked the issued check saved it went back to my sheet, but the offending revision was still greyed out and would not go away. I tried deleting the revision by backspaceing on the text and date. the text would go away as the date but the revision number would not go away. I tried merging it with another revision and guess what, it stayed greyed out, and could not be unchecked from the properties, edit revisions. is there something that I am missing. how dose one get rid of a greyed out revision?

I wonder if it's somehow 'phase' related ?

When you say it is greyed out, do you mean in the sheet properties under revisions on sheet?
It is grey there when there is an associated revision cloud either on the sheet or within a view that is on the sheet. We only cloud on the sheet so the clouds are easier to manage. You may have to open each view and look for the clouds. Did someone perhaps override graphics of the cloud and make them white? A horrible practice!

I do not think that it is phase related as it is a new build with all elements being new build.
to clarify it the revision is greyed out under properties/ edit/ revisions on sheet. It had been greyed out under View/ revisions/ (sheet/revisions) it was greyed out and the issued box checked. I unchecked the box and it was no longer greyed out. I saved the file. the revision is now editable but it is still greyed out under properties/ edit/ revisions on sheet. I tried to merge the revision to get rid of it but no luck, it remains greyed out and stays on my sheet.
it makes sence that if a revision is linked to a revision cloud on a sheet to lock and not be editable. Unfortunately it is a large project and tale too much time to go through every sheet to look for the same revision with a corresponding taged cloud. But that could be the answer. thanks!

As it happens, I found the offending revision cloud, it was not yet tagged but when I tagged it the letter corresponded with the greyed out revision.
thanks again.
