Let say i have a concrete beam that 48/36x40. Incase you dont understand what im getting at. The beam stars out as 48w, but ends up being 36w due to an opening or something. I can i create a family that will give me this flexiblity?

Also i want it so it well appear 48/36x40 in my live schedule.

hi,

i know its a bit late for reply, but just to answer your question...

yes you can achieve this, you can reference to your HELP how to use sweep and sweep blend.

for the schedule, if you want to schedule any of your parameter, you should use SHARED PARAMETER (refer to your HELP)

but if you want just "48/36x40". you can use this name as your TYPE NAME, and schedule it...

ty

Not the best, but it will do for now.

It was done in release 2013

Your thoughts on it?
