Hi,
I have few sheets of typical details in a Revit file, and all these details need to be called-out in another revit (project) file,
i know to insert 2D details and all that. but im in a situation like this, how do i call-out details that are subject to fine tuning, updating & renumbering...any tips.
cheers
W

Subject to updating - no problem....
...subject to renumbering - that can be a problem.
I personally don't like linking in master details because someone in another project could change something and I would possibly miss issuing that changes. But you can do it.... Think about linking by view while in a view. Then the view can be placed on your sheets and the callout is controlled.
I think the better process is to import the detail. It belongs in the file for record purposes.
