Hi -

I am attempting to set up some office standards, and I have updated the object styles in our template to make elements to look how we'd like them to look in plan.  My problem is that - for girders for example - I have the cut and projection lines set to 6 to have them show up very heavy in plan.  When I cut a section, though, the girder outline is now way to heavy.  I tried changing the "cut" line weight so that it would be lighter when cut in section (even though this wouldn't necessarily solve my problem, as sometimes section cuts also show a projection of perpendicular beams framing into the side of cut beams, and I'd want those both to look the same).  However - changing the "Cut" lineweight in object styles appears to have no effect on the girder in my section cut (which I don't understand - I would think that updating "Cut" lineweight from 6 to, say, 2, my section would be update and show the girder outline with a lighter lineweight??).

Of course, I could just override graphics in view for every section I have to cut, but I was hoping that there was an easier/ more global way to make this change.  If not, the next best thing I can think of is to create a view template that I'll have to use every time I cut a section?

Thanks for your help!

View templates.

NOTE:   Even though you think this is a girder, the structural framing cut controls this line.
