Hello all,

im having a hard time installing a solar tube in a project that i am working on, attached is a section showing the placement of the solartube. when i go to move it vertically with the arrows it has it just starting growing longer from the roof up.  when i try to bring it back down to the ceiling level it wont.  wondering if anyone has any informaiton on how to correctly install the solar tube in revit. Any information is greatly appreciated.

Is this an out of the box revit family?  It most likely won't let you move it down because it is roof based and attached to your roof

I would bet that this is a ceiling based family and that's why it adjusts up.  Try changing the host.
