Using revit 2014
I'm trying to get total cost #'s by occupancy and am having problems with the calculated formula. I'm using areas as the basis for the schedule with name and area as my parameters.
I'd like to do something like: occupancy type * area * cost per sf = total cost
I can do a blanket calculation that multiplies all areas by a square foot cost, but i am not having luck filtering the name parameter. For instance we have residential, common spaces, amenity, parking, etc.
Can anyone advise on the IF function so I can define by the name of each area type and assign a unique cost to each of those types?
Thanks very much for any help!
