Is there a way to change the size of the background box on text? I like using the opaque option for text, but the size of it is big and i usually cannot place it on ductwork because it covers the duct and looks unprofessional.

This has been a wish list item from the beginning I think. No way of controlling this.

Yea, the only option to to mess with that i believe is located in the "edit Type" window, and the parameter is called ""Leader/Border Offset". Hope that helps, cause if that doesn't, i believe you may be S.O.L. Let me know, i can try and look for somehting else.
