How can I delete two or more line styles at once? (or batch delete unused line styles?) After selecting two line styles Delete button greyed out.

You can't. Gotta do them one at a time..... and you can't delete the stock ones.
Brought in a CAD without cleaning it up - hugh? << Hard lessons to learn.

Cleaning up? Best practice is turn all layers to layer 0?

Best practice is to not bring CAD directly into your project, if you have to do it do it in a dummy project and adjust all of your layers first then insert it into your project. You definetly should explode all blocks and hatches and turn everything to layer 0 if you are bringing in a CAD file.
