well basically when i add topography and select my file (from autoCAD which is at the correct size) and put it onto my project for some reason it seems to resize the topography and about 100times bigger than it should be, any1 know why?
extra info - btw i got the original file from the net as a dwf file and opened it in CAD. the scale was 1:1250 so i re-scaled the image to 1:1scale b4 putting it into revit, is this where ive gone wrong?

what if you leave it the original size in acad and scale when you import?

I have found that regardless of the issues you have now, that overall when Importing a DWG file into Revit-
In the Scaling section of the Import dialogue box select the DWG unit type it was drawn in specifically - DO NOT use Autodetect. If the original DWG file used millimetres to draw the toposurface import it using millimetres, this may solve your problems- it has certainly saved me a lot of grief.
Good luck!
