I am using Revit MEP 2013 and am trying to produce a 2D as-built of my conduit racks with the elevations called out. Essentially, once I build the 3D model of my conduit racks (that change in elevations (z distance), I will export the sheet for construction purposes. The end goal is to have a 24x36 floor plan that shows the conduit routing but displays and change in elevations (for example, a conduit routing along run is at 98' and then transitions up to a run at 104' (x and y dimensions may or may not change but my foreman can scale that off the drawing).
Is there any easy way to accomplish this in Revit or CAD? Otheriwse, I am going in and inserting text blocks and manually entering my elevations.
Any help is appreciated!

hi,
not sure what is conduit racks (google is showing me a real "rack")
if you use conduit (systems>electrical>conduit) or cable tray (systems>electrical>cable tray) to house your conduit, then both of them can be tagged to show top/bottom elevations. there is no need for manually entering elevations.

Yes, I am just using those components. How do I tag them to show top and bottom elevations as you describe? Apologies, I don't use Revit as much as I should! Thanks.
