I have this horizontal board railing. see pic. Revit miters each one at the stair slope, but I want to get it like the photograph shows (inset in the screen shot) is this possible, or should I define a new railing and try to match the two together. also, I think (in the real life photo) the slats are shorter when going at the angle, then when running purely horizontal.
Any thoughts to get it more like the picture?

That is a sloping post and you will not get that with a Revit railing.
I suggest you do something in-place instead for the post and possibly the rails. Although you could do the rails one at a time and get that look.
