I am trying to create a Pipe type and a corresponding System type is there a way i can do this? Currently I have to go through the drop down list each time i have to change the system type.

Yes i i believe what your looking for anyway. If you go to pipe types>right click>type properties>click routing preferences>you can set what kind of pipe segment you want to that pipe type. iI think this is the closest thing you can get that i'm aware of.

Usually if you have an existing run with the right kind of pipe in the run, and you select wht you are connecting to>right click the control on the end>then start drawing pipe it auto-selects the correct kind of pipe. But i mean worse comes to worse, you could always just tab until you get the whole completed run, and filter out so you have only pipes selected, then change type all at once. so you don't have to do it everytime, with every piece of pipe
