Hi all

I am using Revit 2014. I created a topography, created in existing, demolished in new construction. I also added a subregion to this. I then "graded" my topo by copying the topo with same internal points etc, phased it to created in new construction, and then proceeded to grade it as necessary.

I then changed boundary lines of the subregion on the new topo as the paved areas will overlap. Ie some paving will be lifted and reused, in addition to new paving bricks.

I have also added 2 pads in new construction phase.

I created a topography schedule to calculate the cut and fill for my site. my problems are as follows:

1. I want the total of cut and fill and net cut/fill for old vs new. I really dont want to know each of the cut and fill values for my subregions. How do I manipulate my schedule to do this?

2. My existing topography shows cut and fill values. Pretty significant values. How is this possible? Surely it should be 0?

3. My pads (or I should say the topography under my pads) do not calulate any cut and fill at all. All the values display as 0.

4. I tried to add another subregion to my existing topo and it will not let me make is existing at all!!! No matter what I do.

Please help, I am at my wits end. I have never been so frustrated by revit.

I think that problem is in "... I created a topography, created in existing, demolished in new construction..."

Do not demolish existing topography
