I am trying to rotate a truck on a long truck ramp, and can't get the truck to align with the ramp so it looks like it's actually on the ramp. It won't let me pick a workplane or rotate the truck when I edit it in the family. If anybody knows how to solve this please tell!!
Thanks!

We don't know anything about the family or how it was built so we can only guess. When you pick on the truck do you get an option to select a new host?

Can you rotate the family in elevation at all? If not, open the family, in the upper left corner / properties tab, click on the icon that has the yellow file folder and uncheck "Always vertical" - then reload the family.

Here is the tuck I am using:
http://www.revitcity.com/downloads.php?action=view&object_id=5164
And yes it shows the pick new host button but doesn't actually allow me to pick a new host.

In the family uncheck always vertical and check workplane based. You can then either use Edit Work Plane or use the Pick New option in the project

Your family set to work plane based / always vertical unchecked and placed on a ramp in a project.
