Walls that go through structural columns show, as if the column is transparent. The fill is hidden, but the edge is not. Does not happen with all columns - seems random. I am using a view template, so it should be the same in all views, but is not.

Here is the image. Vast majority are transparent. Also, I am using Revit 2015.

We have now seen several posts on this subject yet I can't reproduce the problem. That's why I think this is a process error but I don't know what that is.
Please analyse your process and post it. That includes the properties of the effected items including family, element properties showing level and height, element phase, view settings for phase, phase filter and discipline.
You may want to just do this in a seperate area or project and see if you can recreate the problem.

We have found the cause (but not the fix): See attachment. Columns are opaque on 4th floor west but not on 3rd floor west. The become transparent when we add beams. See the section cut. There are beams at 3rd floor west. We tried all combinations of attaching and detaching the columns to and from the beams, with no results.

Hi, has anybody found a solution to this problem? As I said in the previous post, we did determine the beams were causing the problem, but don't know how to fix it. We even detached the beams completely. It's a huge drawing set, and we really need to solve this graphic issue. Can't make columns black, because they are existing. Adding masking regions to all columns in all plan views will take days. Any ideas??
