Hi everyone! I'm trying to create the object in revit 2014 that will act as a link when in 3d view mode. I am searching for any solution similar to what im trying to do. Please let me know if it's possible.

Your question is not at all clear ..."... act as a link..." < A link is a link - so just use a link.

Well, I need that when in 3D mode walkthrought I click on doors the picture file will open.
I was adding links in object properties, then I tried to add family made from generic model family with only parameter URL and this is not working in 3d either.

You should have said a URL link since Revit has file links.
The only URL links available are in type properties of families.
