All my walls are Brick work with 200mm and either side plastering of 15mm.

I want the Structure should be thicker(say 4) and the Finishes should be thinner(say 1).

In VG we can control the line weight of the function of the wall/floor/roof by checking the option 'Cut Line Styles'.

Please let me know if there is any possibility to get this through out the project i.e in all Section and Plan views. or suggest some alternative.

Thank you.

give view templates a go.

set up your view as you want it with your cut/line styles etc and save as a view template,

and apply it to your various views.

Thank you for your responces.

@ masell5 - We will be having different settings in different views like Plans, Enlarge Plans, Sections, Interior Elevations etc.

Just for this line weight if we create one more view template, the existing applied view template will get affected. It can be done but not a one time go.

@WWHub - I don't know whether we have this option in 2014 or 2015. I am not looking for Cut/Projection Line weight of wall.

I want to control line weight as per 'Function' through out the project.

I don't understand "as per function".  That sounds like you need a filter.

You are correct about cut-line styles in VG for seperate layer functions.  They can only be controlled per view - but that is where you use view templates.
