Hello All,
I do realize that this is well discussed question and yet I did not find any solution, so I am asking again. Please bear with me.
Seriously, is there no way to create multiple sets of sheets within REVIT. DD/DOB/BID/CD etc etc. I have to manually archive at every stage and go forward to the next phase. This is not a problem for me to do, but what if I have the DOB responds with objections and I have to go back to that file and update ..a lot of room for errors? How is everyone handling this? What is the right way to do this?
Also, is there a way to deal with the revision number? For example, for the BID SET the revision number ended with 6 and I move on to the next phase CD set. I don’t want to start the new revision bubble with 7 ? This is absurd. Am I doing it wrong.
Most firms make PDF’s of the completed DD/DOB/BID sets for future reference and move on with the next phase. Is this the only option?
Thanks for your help

First always keep in mind that Revit is MODEL....3D not CAD. And as you progress, the model obviously will change. Knowing that, there is no way of "preserving" earlier phases short of archiving the project at each phase.
We remove all revisions after the bid and start fresh. I've seen some users use letters for Bid phase...A-B-C then start with numeric for construction phase and turn off all the earlier letter revisions.
