Can anyone tell me how to get my type marks to appear on my sheet?  I'm creating an RCP for a class and need to figure this out!!! Thanks!

Hi Dawcyl81,

From what you said it sounds like you want to create a schedule. On the Project Browser right click on "Schedules/Quantities" and select "New Schedules/Quantities" Select the Categories you want and name the schedule. Then add the fields you want to display, this is where you can select "Type Mark".

Once complete, open the sheet you want the information to be displayed and drag the schedule from your Project Browser into your sheet. On the sheet you can change the width of columns.

Was this what you were after? Hope that helps.

This is not a schedule issue.

"Type marks" are typically element tags.  The tags are created by category to read the "type" mark parameter in a family.  In order to have and see type marks, the element has to be in the view and the elment category on, then it can be tagged and the tag category must be visible.
