Have used the link file method to position 9 units on a sloping site with considerable fall. Require the correct method to create sloping driveways & level building areas. I can split the surface & apply new levels but how do I grade the untouched surface exactly back into the adjusted surface. Do you have to record every elevation point alteration on the modified driveway portion & then apply these values to the bordering portions. There must be a better method !

sad to say that Revit site tools are way off being usable when it comes to roads, curbs etc.
have a look at the tutorial I wrote, complex slabs and paths...

Thank you once again. I was afraid you would say that. Will look at the tutorial and battle through. Sounds like the new release wont help either! Pity they wont add the stuff we do need instead of stuff most of us cant even spell!

I agree.
though the developers are working hard on 9 and 10 we are still missing so many things we asked for...
that's why I'm waiting for 12
