I was wondering if it is possible to create a line thats visible on screen but doesn't print.

1. you can use reference plane then in print setup tick Hide ref/works planes. (this is the best way, i think)
2. create a new line styles, before printing, in Visibility/Graphics(VG) > Lines(drop down) > untick your new line styles.

There has been a no-print linestyle discussion for a long time. Ther is no such thing in Revit projects.
Why do you want this? Perhaps you should consider using working views for modeling vs sheeted views.
