Hello there,

We always have our structural and MEP models linked to our Revit file.  They are constantly updating etc with the same linked file name.  This way we don't have to relocated it and change visibility settings for each view.

However, I'm curious if there's away to adjust the Revit Linked File categories shown for our entire project?  I know that I can go into visibility graphics and Revit Links for each view and say for strutrual turn off all walls, doors, etc.  Only show that discipline's categories.  However there are a lot of views and I'd love to keep it as a standard for ALL views.

Any idea if Revit is capable of this?

Thanks,

Lorne

I'd zap all the views types at once with a view template or apply it to the  view type s themselves.

I was afraid of that.  We do have view templates, but every project those templates change just a bit.  I was hoping I could get them done with one sweep vs a template change for elevations, plans, finish plans, dimension plans, slab plans, etc...

Thanks,

Lorne
