Hello!

Does anyone have experience building traditional casework? I am having trouble figuring out how to create this in a model in place.  It seems super complicated.

Thanks!

You would probably be better off creating this as a family.  It is not really complicated.  There is casework that comes with Revit, are you looking for something different?

while i understand your comment about a family, we usually just do a model in place component.

we create them using sweeps.

We've yet to repeat a trim profile between jobs. lol...

every job has a new profile (usually to match an existing profile in the house if its a reno)

I used a model in place. But I am wondering where to go from here! How would I go about using a wall sweep to create cabinetry?

You are far better off to either use the familes found on autodesk seek or build your own families.
