HI There

I have imported a velux rooflight downloaded from revitcity into revit architecture 2013 but I cant get it to display into my windows schedule.

It was imported as a generic component so thought that changing it to a widow component would resolve thie probem - sadly it hasnt.

I downloaded a different velux rooflight, placed it in the same locn and it works fine.

Any ideas please?

Because your first window was a generic family, it may have been using different parameters than your window family.  Shared parameters are special - they are not just a name.  WIDTH does not necessarily equal WIDTH.  They must both be the same shared parameter.

Thanks for the reply.

My problem though is not that the parameters are not displaying it is that the component is not displaying at all within the schedule.

Any suggestions much appreciated.
