Model lines win...
Does anyone have any idea why, when you are trying to snap to, mainly pipe fitting, centers with a dimension tool in your hand revit gives you very limited snapping abilities, but if you go switch over to a model/detail line it will give you options to snap to that it didn't give you with the dimensional tool? You would think it is the same technical function, the only vasriable that changes is the command you are using, the fuctionality should stay the same. I find myself often having to draw a line onto the model element to be able to snap to where i want to with the dimension? Just a weee bit frustrating.
