Hi!
I have a problem that is probably somewhere in the settings of my view templates (since everything is visible if I create a new plan view): Furniture and generic models imported is not shown in plan view (but works in 3d and section). The information is there, but is hidden (see attached image). Any ideas? I have checked the RCP visibility settings on the imported generic models.
Thanks,
Amanda

You write "...I have checked the RCP visibility settings..." Hugh? What has reflected ceiling plan have to do with this?
Look at your view depth, your VG settings and if you have to, open the family and look at the elements and their view settings. Some objects in the family may be set to only show when item is cut, only in 3D, only in plan.... and if they are symbollic linework, the sub category may be off in VG in your view.

"FEV-settings" (Family Element Visibility Settings) <<< Where do you get these terms? Not here or anywhere i have seen in Revit.
Create a new plan view from the view dropdown (don't duplicate your existing view) and see if it works correctly.
Maybe if you post the family, we can look at it.

Haha, the physical person I first asked told me to "check the FEV-settings" and so I did, didn't think that it was a term he was alone in using.. Maybe it is a swedish thing to use abbreviations!
The problem is not in the families itself, since (as I wrote in the first post) it does show up the way it should when creating a new plan view (not duplicating one). That was the first thing I checked. I posted the question here to try to avoid redoing the plans, since I pressume it is just something in the VG-settings that is off.
Where would I find the settings for the symbolic linework? I can't seem to find it in the visibility settings for the view template..?
Thanks!
