Hi All,

Im really stuck, I downloaded these furniture pieces however I can't seem to find in the edit type where to remove the text/tags in order to replace them with my own reference. If anyone has any ideas I'd be very appreciative, I've attached an image below to explain.

They are probably text in the family.  Click on the item, pick edit family, find and delete the text, then reload into project.

Has anyone figured this out?  I'm really stuck on this.  I've downloaded some office furniture and there is large text on it that I cannot see in the original family file.  I can't seem to find a way to get rid of it.

As WWhub said. Open the family in the family editor. Go to the view where you see the text i.e. probably the plan and zoom in until you see some text and delete it and purge the family and load it back into your project model.

Beaucoupnice, as I stated I tried that, however, I cannot see text when I open it to edit it...

I need to ask the obvious question.  When you edit the family, do you check VG to see if the category is on?

Another possibility is since the text is 3D, could it be at a level above the plan you are looking at?  Look at a 3D image in the editor witl all categories on in VG.

Knoll furniture adds their annotated tags as families within the model you download. Go to your project brower of the d'urso model> families > annotation symbols> right click and delete the tag (it'll warn you you're deleting the family... no problemo it's just the tag family)... and boom goes the dynamite. Before/After what your annoation symbols should look like after.
