Hi

Because 3ds max crashes when I try to link a revit that contains more than one instance of a xref, I have to bind the xref file (house.rvt) into my site.rvt file, before I can link site.rvt into 3ds max.

But when I bind the xref I get some strange boxes (room?) outside the house. See attached screenshot.

Does anyone know what can cause this?

I have attaced the house.rvt, site.rvt and screenshot.

Thanks :-)

What has xref got to do with your problem?   You don't really mean x-ref - correct?

What x-ref files?   You don't give any information about x-ref files - only rvt files.

You should have said 2015 files!

I don't have 2015 open and I won't now.

Hi WWhub

Sorry for not giving enough information.

The house.rvt is linked (xref) into site.rvt.

The files are created in Revit 2014.
