Hi All,

Just getting to grips with Revit (LT 2015) and I would like for fire doors in plan to shaded solid black so that they are easily distinguished.

I've tried but with no avail...

Thanks in advanced

Scott

You would have to assign a material to those doors>  That would prbably require you to edit the family and change the door material.

Even so, typically the plan representation for doors is not the actual geometry but symbolic lines.

Johnzo,   You are correct.   I should have said that. - good catch

In this case, the family could be edited to show a solid filled region turned on/off with a parameter switch.  The door leaf is usually modeled closed and my first answer was incorrect.

Unfortunately, you can't place a filled region in a door family either. Unless you know something different.

You can place a filled region using a detail component.
