Hi all.
Our engineer is asking us to correct a line problem on our foundation plans. (Image 1)
The problem is caused by one footing going streight and the other butting into its side. (Image 2)
Can we miter structural foundations like walls? If not does anyone have a solution for me?
Thanks.

And that's just the tip of the iceberg of his demands. He is suggesting going back to autocad.
N-A-WAY.
Any ideas?

If he can't see the trees then maybe you need a different engineer.
Even if you add a tiny masking region to break that line, the dashed lines would then bother him because they would not be even. .... BALONY When we hand drafted, our linetypes were not perfect and it didn't matter. Not then and not now.
