I have a attic framing plan that is showing roof rafters (which come down to the same elevation as the attic joists) that I don't want to be visible. These rafters are modeled through a beam framing system. I would like to hide these roof rafters within this view. In general, is it possible to hide a particular beam system within a view, while keeping other beam systems visible?
Normally when I want to hide an object I'll type in "EH" and click on it, which makes it disappear from view. But when I try to hide a beam system with this method it doesn't hide the rafters, instead it takes away my ability to select the beam system while leaving it fully visible.
I could select the beam system and click "remove beam system" to make the rafters individual objects, and then hide each one, but I frequently need to modify the boundaries/slope of the rafters, which will make this problematic for future changes. Any ideas?
Thanks!
