All of a sudden when I try to open a file I get and error message that reads

"encountered an improper argument"

and files wont open.

Any idea how to fix this?

I figured it out. I deletet the Revit.ini file and the .UI file and that fixed the problem.  Although it did delete all my revit prferences with it, like my keyboard shortcuts.  Oh well, small price to pay.
