Wondering if there is a way or a wall family available to make a log cabin. Any hints would be helpfull.

choose a basic wall
dublicate it
go into edit structure
choose sweeps
load a profile which is a semi circle the size of your logs
attach this to interior and exterior side
also will need to attach a profile for each log in the wall on your vertical
choose the material for them
this will give you a basic wall which looks lokie a log wall
you could also crate a mass element for log.

jfurlong, could you send me an e-mail ( gerryh_2006@yahoo.com) or post an attachment showing how you created a wall-log. I have a profile for a log. However when i add it to the wall do i need to add sweeps continuosly up both sides of the wall? Logs are 8 3/4". I downloaded the family component from here. I better learn by seeing how things are done instead of talking about them.
