Hi all,
Could anyone please help me to understand a problem:
In the left image, the sweep option “Cuts by insets” is OFF.
The sweep is placed on a “rock faced” part of this stacked wall (bottom part).
When I place this sweep on the upper (stucco) part of this stacked wall, a portion of the wall is not selectable for the placement.
In the right image, the sweep option “Cuts by insets” is ON.
The problem might be in the stacked wall, but they are joined properly and I don’t see a difference between them.
If anyone could advice, I will appreciate.
Thanks.

The problem may be what portion of the stacked wall is hosting the sweep.
I typically unstack walls after I'm through designing because they are easier to control. In your case, the sweep may be hosted by different portions of wall and therefore it doesn't see the window. When stacked walls are broken up, you can use the join function.
Try adding your sweep in the middle area of the window then sliding it down. Then it will all be on one wall.

Thank you.
"Good" sweep is placed on the lower part of the wall (roch texture). I just tried to place it as you say, , - does not want even to highlight a possible location of the sweep.
And why "cut by opening" works in an opposite order? (when I check "cut", windows do not cut it, and when I cancel cutting, everything is OK (only if the sweep is attached to the bottom part).
And after I break up this stacked wall, how (and should I?) to join it back?

You can't re-stack a wall once it is broken up.
That sweep should be placeable in any portion of the stack. But if it is working now then your done..... Except do you want trim around the lower portion of your windows???? If so, then you will have to cut that stone back wider than your window cut.

I see.
But this sweep goes well to the lower part of the stacked wall, and does not stick at all to the upper part (only this fragment).
And why thic "Cut by inserts" option works in the opposite way? (when it is OFF, windows cut the sweep, when it's ON, - does not).
