Hi,

Does anybody know how to use the Cobie Toolkit for Revit 2014. I am trying to create new cobie parameters that will show under Components, Spaces, Types, etc in the excel export. I have created the new parameters I want as shared parameters like the pre existing cobie parameters but when i export using the cobie toolkit none of my new ones show in the export.

There is info on how to do this for the 2013 plug in but the 2014 plug in is different. There are no tutorials online for 2014.

Thanks!

Do you understand how to create shared parameters?  Your question seems to indicate you did not do this.  You can read about shared parameters in your HELP.

I would think that you will have to use shared parameters that work with cobie.  Creating your own does not mean they will work.  Shared paramets are special, they are not just names.

This may help you: http://www.bim-manager.net/2013/08/parameters-part-6-fm-and-cobie.html

We use shared parameters on a daily basis. The new parameters i've created are shared parameters. I've added them to the existing shared parameters cobie automatically created (also named them in the cobie format). The link you have shared is exactly what I want to do ie. External tools - 'Update cobie v2.30 parameters 2013' but this is for the Cobie toolkit 2013 and I am using the 2014 version which does not have that command under external tools.
