I am wanting to create a finish schedule that has always been done in CAD. I would like it to reference the MARK/ KEY in the schedule and drawings. I am attaching a PDF of what is done in CAD in the past and is what I would like to replicate.

So do you want a dumb schedule or a smart one?

This could be smart as a multicategory schedule using the same shared parameters assigned to your model elements.

Obviously, as a dumb schedule, you can just do it in a drafting or legend view as you did in CAD.  Or you can create a schedule key using a category that is not normally used in your project.  You can find threads here about using a schedule key.

sorry for not clarifying. also I am using 2013 & 2014.

I would like it to be as smart as possible. meaning that I would like the marks on the schedule to match the tags on the

drawings and the use of any other categories provided.

Here is a description of using a multi-category schedule:

http://docs.autodesk.com/REVITST/2010/ENU/Revit%20Structure%202010%20Users%20Guide/RST/index.html?url=WS46b90c3cb2c58cad1cb25f1fc7fa49ed4-7fed.htm,topicNumber=d0e17289

NOTE:  You need to create shared parameters and assign those to all elements to be scheduled.  You can assign those as project parameters picking the multiple categories.
