Okay, I have been using Revit since September and I am still struggling with it at times. That's what you get for using AutoCAD for so long.
Here is my dilemma:
I am doing some addenda and I am using the callout feature to create an enlarged plan. From there, I am putting the view onto an 8.5x11 for the addenda. In my floor plan, for example, I can see my structural columns and my wall structure. The cut plane is 4' from the main floor level. This way I see the structural columns in the wall, and the wall structure itself. Now the problem. When I create the callout and go to it, its acting like the "cut" plane is way above the 4' mark. I wish there was a way to set the level at 4' but there is not option for that. How do I do this? I hope that I am making sense. I guess that I get really frusterated with Revit at times because it does some really strange and quirky things.

make sure that your callout is a floor plan and not a detail BEFORE you draw it. just click on the callout button and select floor plan from the top option, now you will be able to change cut planes and whatever you want...

Yes, I noticed that soon after the discussion. I was wondering if I could create another FP category, name it addenda, and then use the callout? Is this possible?
