hello everyonei am trying to find a way to show only the core of the wall and not the exterior or the interior layers when i change the view settings to coarse but could'nt find anything that really works.the wall type we usually use is either a concrete or brick wall at the core and insulation and/or some cladding material on the outside of the wall. i was planning to use medium detail settings for 1/20 or 1/10 scale drawings showing all the details of the wall and coarse setting for 1/50 scale drawings to show the wall without the cladding/insulation etc. but changing the view level to coarse shows the total width of the wall not the coreanyone know a way of how to do this?thanks in advance

i am using revit 2014 by the way

This is the correct way that Revit functions.  Coarse setting is always shows the entire wall.  If you want something else, you will have to split up the wall and use other means to show what you want.
