Trying to draw a box for target and they have the CMU blocks painted in stripes horizontally across the whole exterior. Some red, white, maybe blue...How can I keep the wall the same but have multiple stripes of colors on the brick? I have tried duplicating walls and changing the material but it changes them all...paint covers the material...and stacked walls allow me to set up the stripes but not to change the colors without changing all of the walls colors. Help please.

What Revit version are you using? "have tried duplicating walls and changing the material but it changes them all" If this is happening then you are not creating your material correctly. I would probably use the split surface command and paint the stripes.

2014. I duplicate the wall and click on the CMU finish and change both the shading color and the surface pattern color. However when I do this, all CMU block walls that I have duplicated change as well. I am hoping I am just missing a step.

All you are doing is duplicating the wall and changing the existing material.. you need to duplicate the actual material. Search creating a material in youe HELP.

Looked it up, great material however it still changes all of my wall types even if materials have been duplicated and changed. It only allows me to change the appearance in a non- realistic view. If I was to look at it under "realistic" it edits the image the same for both types.

No Revit issue stated....
Starting with 2013, Revit now has assets that are assigned to materials. One asset can be assigned to multiple materials. So duplicating the material means you still have the same asset. You may need to duplicate the asset and change that. Read about these features in your HELP.
