I am about to create lighting fixture families and post them on Autodesk SEEK. Should I use Revit MEP or Revit Architecture?
The SEEK Guidelines recommend to use the older possible Revit version. I've seen many on SEEK that are in 2011 format. Is there a particular reason for that, or doing them in 2010 or even 2009 is the same, or better?

as revit isnt yet backward compatible to users.
the earlier the version used to create families, the more folks can open them.
maybe 1 day autodesk will be able to do what archicad does.
make files openable by earlier versions.
the line that autodesk puts all its development effort into upgrades and new features rather than making later versions compatible with earlier formats seems a bit odd based on the latest release.
where are they?
datacad introduced wiggly lines in 1985.
regards
geoff
