If you go to your tools palette (Basics, View, Modelling, etc) right click on it you'll notice there are massing tools. Create a mass of the volume you want and then use the Wall By Face tool to create walls out of your mass volume.

like arccodex said, a mass is the best option, though you could also do it an an in place wall family using blend... what ever easier Smile

I have made an angled mass but want to put windows into the wall. I used the wall by face however I can't put any windows into the wall or even cut an opening into the wall.  How do I go about putting windows into an angled wall?  Using 9.1.

using the opening by face tool, cut the opening you need.

in the opening, create another mass family (go to section and use extrusion)

once you have the mass, do a curtain system by face and edit it with mullions to the window you want

how do you cut out the middle part of this condition, I have put it in as a glass wall, just like what is said above (massing) but now i can figure out how to cut out for the door!   The storefront is canted out.  any help? some step by step directions would be greatly appreciated.  maybe with from the beginning to make sure i have constructed it right.  currently the mullions follow the cant, is that a new family i have to make so they are flush with floor and wall?  please help!  thanks
